Spinach Omellete Recipe

This recipe will serve a person.  Here are the ingredients.

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 Onion cut in small pieces.
  • Ghee 1 tablespoon or grass fed cow butter
  • 1 cup of Spinach
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper

How To Prepare

Preparing the Spinach

First the spinach should be softened so that it can mix easily with egg.  To soften the spinach, boil water in a container and add spinach into the boiling water for a minute.  Take it out after a minute.  This will make the spinach tastier and sweet.  Drain the water out from the spinach.

Preparing the mixture

Break the eggs and add them to a bowl.  Beat the eggs thoroughly and add onions as well as the spinach.  Beat it properly so that the mixture is homogeneous.  Add little bit of salt as per your taste.

Making the Omellete

Take a pan and heat it.  Add a tablespoon of ghee in the pan.  Once the ghee is hot add the egg mixture.  Wait till the bottom is cooked and then turn the side to cook the other side also.  Once egg mixture become golden colored solid on both sides take out the omellete.  Add some freshly crushed black pepper on top.

Congratulations, your omellete is ready.  Add some freshly cut papayas or any other fruit you like on the side and you are ready for a really healthy and filling breakfast which is full of protein, fiber and healthy fat along with other nutrition such as Vitamin A and Vitamin C.  Eat these kinds of breakfast and you are ready to transform your body into a healthier body for sure.
