There are two kinds of fibers – Soluble and Insoluble. Both of them have different benefits.
For example soluble fiber is good for bowel health and they also are good for the cardio vascular health. On the other hand insoluble fiber encourages good bacteria and prevents bad bacteria from building up. They are also good for colon cancer. Insoluble fiber is also good for relief from Constipation.

Just make sure that you take sufficient amount of fiber and in sufficient quantity and you would be able to get all the benefits associated with fiber.
