We keep on discussing the different types of fibers, their benefits and the products available in the market. For example in the past we have talked about Gum Acacia and Guar Gum apart from Fibregum. Here is an article which talks about another fiber product called TruBran.
TruBran® corn bran is a light brown fiber made from yellow dent corn. It is specially processed using mechanical means along with the use of water and heat to produce a high-fiber, natural corn bran that has added stability and low microbiological counts. TruBran® products typically contain 85% total dietary fiber, almost all of which is insoluble. Aerobic plate count results are generally less than 10,000 CFU/g.
The production process is simple, yet provides an ingredient that is differentiated in the marketplace by high total dietary fiber and low microbiological counts.
TruBran® corn bran is available in two different particle sizes: F75M and F75R. F75M is a finely milled ingredient that mixes easily with flour or other dry ingredients for incorporation into formulations. F75R has a coarse particle size and may be chosen for applications where a more visual fiber is desired. Both of these ingredients provide an excellent source of fiber and are easy to incorporate into snacks, cereals, baked goods, nutritional bars and other fiber-fortified foods.
The intended use of TruBran® fibers to increase the fiber in snacks, cereals, baked goods, nutritional bars, beverages, supplements and other fiber-fortified foods is Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS). Additionally, Health Canada has stated that it does not object to the use of TruBran® corn bran as a source of dietary fiber in foods.

TruBran® corn bran is a golden brown fiber made from 100% yellow corn. It contains a minimum of 75% total dietary fiber almost all of which is insoluble, and is specially processed for added stability.
TruBran® corn bran comes in two different particle sizes: F75M is a finely milled product; F75R has a coarser particle size. F75R can be used when product handling requires a larger particle size and a more visual fiber is desired.
TruBran® F80T oat fiber is an excellent source of fiber from oats. It contains a minimum of 80% total dietary fiber and has neutral color and very little flavor. TruBran® F80T can be used alone or in combination with other ingredients to create high fiber products.
GPC’s TruBran® products provide an excellent source of fiber and can be easily incorporated into granulations, capsules, tablets, nutritional bars, nutritional beverages and other fiber-fortified products.
